Advanced 3D Sensors To Build Real-time 3D Map Of Your World
Google’s Project Tango phone and developer kit offers options to help the most directionally challenged among us – but that’s not all. In its announcement, Google asks: “What if you could capture the dimensions of your home simply by walking around with your phone before you went furniture shopping? What if directions to a new location didn’t stop at the street address? What if you never again found yourself lost in a new building?” This would bring 3D interactive and immersive experiences to the masses (and their phones). Watch:

Anticipated Aviation Tech Shortage Looms
If you’re interested in a career in aviation, now is the time to pursue it. Reports from The Boeing Company and the International Civil Aviation Organization point to an anticipated shortage in skilled aviation maintenance professionals. Boeing expects more than 600,000 airline maintenance technicians will be needed worldwide by 2031. Skilled workers will be retiring and the demand for trained techs will grow exponentially along with the global economies. Keeping pace with that demand will be a challenge, but Portable, Scalable, and Modular solutions are on hand to help!
