Mars Outpost Simulation Coming to Earth!
Mission to Mars candidates will be training at an Earth-based “Mars outpost” by 2015. “The project is in the development stage but joins other Earth-based efforts to simulate conditions of the Red Planet.”
This effort is exciting, and Virtual Experiential Learning could be particularly useful for emergency training, simulating catastrophic scenarios that are too dangerous, expensive – or somewhat impossible – to simulate in real life.
