The Cornwall School in Hong Kong is having incredible success using InSPAL –Interactive Sensory Program for Affective Learning, developed by a team led by City University professor Horace Ip Ho-Shing. The program offers 3D virtual scenarios that teach intellectually disabled students how to interact in the classroom, and about safety and sensory experiences. His next project for InSPAL is being developed to help autistic schoolchildren adapt to the challenges of social behaviors expected in mainstream schools.
