If you’re looking for a career change, add aeronautics to your list of options, specifically becoming a commercial airline pilot or maintenance techs any time in the next 20 years. The aerospace giant, Boeing, reports a projected need for more than a half a million of each – and soon. And pilots are a particularly sought after commodity in the Asia Pacific region, which accounts for 41 percent of the global demand.

Aviation Training Will Be $4 Billion Investment

With more than a million new aviation jobs expected to flood the industry in the next 20 years, officials are expecting the cost of training those new professionals will be equally massive – with a $4 billion price tag.
