In 2003, Denver, CO, during bad weather, a private jet pilot carrying children passengers misjudged the runway during a landing causing a fatal crash that left no survivors. Heartwood’s task in reconstructing this devastating accident was not without it’s price. Soon after, Heartwood’s Founders began to reconsider how to re-position their services and leave the accident reconstruction business. It was at this juncture Heartwood began focusing on Military and Defense Training Applications.
