Sales Producer Selling Virtual Training Solutions (Defense/Aerospace/Military)

We are looking for an Industry talent that is driven to win contracts in the Defense & Military Market. This individual must thrive on producing results. Candidates must have experience selling to our target segments and key accounts (cross-division).

- 3D Virtual Training Solutions
- Immersive Marketing Experiences
- Handheld & Mobile Applications
- Training Applications using Augmented Reality
- 3D Modeling
Heartwood was recently selected, as one of the country's Top Simulation and Training Companies for Military applications in 2010. We were awarded a Yellow Ribbon for “Up and Coming.” This is a special time to join the Heartwood team; the Sales Producer will have the opportunity to play a critical role in driving Heartwood to the next growth phase.
Territory:
- This position will be focused on selling directly to the US Defense & Military Market
Target Goal:
- $2,500,000 bookable business- year one
Average Price per Sale:
- $500,000
Key Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years selling experience in the Defense & Military Market
- An Understanding of the procurement process, contract vehicles & unique aspects of this Industry segment
- Demonstration of past performance (quota busters preferred) and solid examples of contract wins
- Industry leadership persona backed-up with business executive experience
- Located (or willing to relocate) to Heartwood’s San Mateo, CA or Orlando, FL offices
Compensation
Initial Package:
- Salary: Reflective of Experience
- Commission: 3% – 5% swing factor – dependent on gross profit margin realized
After closing $500,000 revenue within first nine (9) months
- Salary: Bump-up
- Commission: 6% – 10% swing factor – dependent on gross profit margin realized
- Bonus: An additional 2% commission will be paid for generating revenue in excess of $1,500,000 in a calendar year (12 month period)
