Motion Graphics Designer
Heartwood, Inc. (www.hwd3d.com) provides 3d animations and complete PC-based turnkey training solutions that revolutionize the way our defense, corporate and industrial users learn. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our production team as a Motion Graphics Designer for short-term contracts. The ideal candidate has 2 to 3 years experience with Motion Graphics using Adobe After Effects.
Job Description and Responsibilities
• Participate in concept development and design under the direction of the Project Manager and Lead Artist
• Work in the following software: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 to 3 years experience with Motion Graphics using Adobe After Effects
• A solid demo reel with shot breakdown
• Have a good understanding of 3D production and how it is incorporated into motion graphics
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with 3D as well as 2D applications. Familiarity with Studio Max is a big plus
• Experience working with defense/military projects is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work well with management and other art staff
• Dedicated problem solver, “can do attitude” Do what’s needed to get the job done
• Must be able to meet deadlines
