ITT, IMS 3D Video
ITT Force Protection Systems needed a marketing video to demonstrate how its interference mitigation systems can prevent RF fratricide. Heartwood’s digital storytelling solution included custom 3D models, live video, photographs, and other digital assets to illustrate the real-world dangers of RF fratricide and then showcase ITT’s solution which protects warfighters, such as those who travel in convoys, from RF fratricide.
The immersive marketing 3D video achieves two goals. First, it puts a human context around the risks of RF interference. Secondly, 3D animation allows ITT to make invisible events visible. Both RF interference and RF interference mitigation cannot typically be seen. Therefore, the 3D video sequences allow customers to see something that they normally would not be able to see – even if they were at a live product demonstration. Therefore, this marketing video’s 3D animations serve as a complement to traditional displays of hardware and products.
