iPad Application
The iPad offers the ability to deliver complex 3D virtual trainers to the learners anywhere. When warfighters and maintenance operators need immediate answers, they can launch a virtual task trainer which teaches the necessary steps. These devices offer full 3D real-time capability to deliver training and task reviews.
- Present full 3D interactivity through iPhone/iPad and Android mobile devices.
- Quickly port existing desktop applications to mobile devices (using Heartwood’s novel 3D production process).
- Collect user metrics and performance data.
Heartwood leverages the iPad’s large display to deliver highly immersive 3D simulations that offer high-fidelity and realism.
This demo shows how a virtual trainer would look on an iPad. Due to Heartwood’s ability to develop 3D assets once and deploy them many times, the full project was completed within a rapid ten day timeframe.
