Tara Scarrow
Director of Production

Tara Scarrow has a keen understanding of the military and defense industry’s needs. She has successfully guided clients—such as ATK, Raytheon, ITT, United States Secret Service and Honeywell—through the process of creating solutions such as 3D interactive training applications, and immersive marketing tools. Her successes include a three-year program to create operations and maintenance trainers for the Patriot Missile Defense System.

Tara leads Heartwood’s production team and confidently guides clients through the production process. She works with clients to develop a coherent vision that fits within the project’s budget and timeline.

Tara never lets a client go away unhappy. She carries within her a “do what it takes to get the job done.” Her passionate focus, resourcefulness, and attention to detail set the standard for the entire Heartwood production team.
 
Prior to joining Heartwood, Tara worked at a local staffing firm and also a corporate financial services company. Tara moved to California from Kansas after she received a Bachelor’s degree from Fort Hays State University. She loves the beautiful California weather, and soaks it all in by taking her dog to local parks, beaches and trails.
