Timo Wadhawan
Founding Board Member, Chief Financial Officer

Timo Wadhawan serves as Heartwood’s CFO, and he is a Founding Board Member. His guidance helped bring the founding team – Raj Raheja and Neil Wadhawan – together. In addition, Timo provided the first venue for the Heartwood startup to launch. Soon, the company started delivering its first virtual training and 3D animation solutions to clients.

Previously, as Senior VP and CFO of Argos Adriatic Corporation, Timo was a member of the team responsible for taking the IT services company from $300k annual revenue to $10 million. He served as Senior VP of Construction for Kapareva Construction Corporation, a builder of luxury homes in Danville, CA. From the mid 1970s to 1985, Timo was a Construction and Contracts Manager for BC Hydro & Power Authority’s multi-million dollar projects. His projects included the Cathedral Square underground substation in Vancouver, Canada and the Seven Mile Hydroelectric project in Trail, British Columbia.

As a result, Timo provides a deep understanding of the operations and maintenance training challenges that Heartwood’s clients often face. When Timo is at home, he is a passionate gardener who enjoys growing vegetables and environmentally battling gophers . Timo has also been a championship ping-pong competitor, and he continues to enjoy playing every opportunity he gets. Timo holds a B. Tech Electrical Engineering degree from IIT Delhi and Master of Applied Science in Systems Design from University of Waterloo, Canada.
